While
it is impossible to believe it could have happened so
quickly, we celebrated our first anniversary on March
25, 2001. We went to Shreveport to gamble for a bit
then spent the night in the "most haunted town in
Texas", Jefferson. After returning to Dallas on
Sunday morning we exchanged our gifts. Following
the paper theme of the first anniversary I got Matt a
print from Nantucket; we were able to visit there last
year. He gave me an original letter from Norman
Rockwell with his signature at the bottom and on his
own stationary. And of course our trip to
Cozumel was our big present to each other.

We stayed at the Claiborne House
in Jefferson, Texas.

At Home
We
made dinner and used our nice dishes, it is
the first time we have used our china.
|
|
Our
Cake
looked awful when we pulled it out of the freezer
but it sure did taste good. We passed it
around for everyone to try. Here's to many
more years together!!

Bossier
City
We
spent a few hours playing the slots at
Hollywood Casino. We were up for
awhile but kept pumping the money back
in the machines. We walked out
ahead by $80.
We
ate at a restaurant that we found the
first time we went to Shreveport 3
years ago, Gerald Savoie's. We
stuffed ourselves with 3 pounds of
crawfish each, you gotta have crawfish
when you go to Louisiana!
